Hey all!

I already have a barrage of fabulous assistants and interns, but since they're not superwomen they can't quite cover all the dates I need assistants/second shooters for! (for example, I'm looking for coverage on 6.23, 7.7, 7.21, 7.28, 9.9, and perhaps a few more)

I'm looking for someone fairly local to Seattle who is hoping to learn and practice assisting and shooting at weddings. I'm totally looking for someone that I can call on for more than one or two weddings, like a long term assistant. Usually this lasts at least a year if not two or three- I was incredibly spoiled with my very first long term assistant of three years, working together every single weekend. When she returns from her three year trip to Germany she'll come on board as an associate shooter...

Most days will be on the longer side (think 7 hours or so?) and in and around Seattle. I shoot mainly digital, but every once in a while we do film. Nikons and Hass's and the occasional Holga.

You'd be downloading cards or loading film, fixing dresses, holding gear, perhaps setting up a reception slideshow or two, and shooting a little when you're bored! I don't mind a little bit of training if you're new to the biz-usually for new assistants I'll have you shadow a current assistant if you don't have all that much experience to see how we work together, and then we can have an equipment meeting to play and get comfortable with where everything is. Mainly, we like to have fun, I love my clients and they usually love my assistants (and actually remember their names for years!).
