As it's been said so far. Terrific Job. You've got a great talent, you're luck you discovered it when you were so young!!
(BTW....is that a Willow couple? They look oddly familiar.....)

Thanks you all!!
Chris, I know they looked really familiar to me too. But I don't think they go to Willow. I do know that they are from Gurnee!?

Nice work Sarah - looks like everybody had fun during this shoot. My fav is number 4 with them posing! About the motorcycle shot coming at you, how did you take that shot without getting run over?

Actually that shot, where it's head on, they weren't moving they were just being goofy and acting like they were really moving!!

Sarah,
Great images! I agree with Chris about how fortunate you are to be starting with something you love at such a young age. I'm so impressed with your talent, and I'm sure you'll only get better with experience. I was 19 when I picked up photography as a hobby, but didn't begin shooting seriously until I was 30! Keep up the good work.

those are great! I bet the wedding will be a blast. I especially like the 2nd shot and the last one. The last one has sort of a timeless feel to it.

Sarah I would crop the first one. I dont like alot of green in my shots. And the one in the woods is a litlle reminder of the Blairwitch Project. BUT I absolutely love the last photo and the one of them riding on the bikes. You may want to scout out some more "honeyspots" in your area for engagement sessions. You could even ask other photographers in your area as well. I try not to tell people what they want to hear, hey thats what strangers do. Friends and loved ones are honest. I hope that I can count on everyone in this forum and yourself for the same respect and "tough love". It's the only way I will improve.

Totally have to disagree on both counts! Negative space is great in the first one... and last one is great emotion...
Interesting to see different opinions.

The negative space is great, its what's in the negative space that in my opinion took away from the overall shot. That's all no big deal. I'm sure the couple will be happy either way, I'm just giving my personal opnion. Try cropping a little and reposting the image.

Thanks for your advice!

For the first pic: I took a series of pictures like that...and there were many others that had less green and were more centered...one of them they actually used for the wedding brochure(SP?) this one was just my favorite of them.
For the second: they were just goofing off so it is more of a fun shot than something that would be framed..well maybe they will frame it!!lol

I did this sitting about an hour away from my house and I really didn't know the area!(And all I saw for miles were trees!!

) So we actually did it in their backyard!! Made it more personal too!
Thanks again for your advice!! I welcome it anytime!!
