I'm sorry if this is a silly question...

But does anyone know if there's a power source / battery available to supply power to lights? Such as if I wanted to use my studio light(s) out in a parking garage or in the middle of a forest? Is there such a thing? Or is it just called an extension cord?

Thanks for your thoughts! thumbsup.gif

You can use a power inverter and your car battery. There's the Vagabond for Alien Bees and White Lightning that is basically a motorcycle battery and a power inverter. They (obviously) don't recommend it for other brands because they don't know what'll happen.

The Vagabond works well and lasts for a long time. Just don't use the modeling lights. thumbsup.gif

Hi...
a really inexpensive mobile power supply can be found at www.innovatronix.com

The Explorer1200 is really great. I use it all the time when i am on location.

Cheers
