The other day Lynn was singing "Da Do Run Run" by Shawn Cassidy. He's so dreamy.

OK, I know that's not fair. The other night I lip synched "So Lonely" by The Police for the kids. The boys thought I was cool -- my 11 year old daughter, not so much.

Then I belted out "The afternoon has gently passed me byyyy, The evening spreads itself against the skyyyyyy. Waiting for tomorrow -- just another day-ay. But I bid yesterday goodbye----oh. [insert "white reggae" beat] Bring on the night. I couldn't stand another hour of daylight.
I guess I was on a "Police" kick. I know. Old school. So sue me. It took me a while to figure out what "NKOTB" was -- I'm so clueless.
But I'm not embarrassed about that. It's when I'm singing to myself in line somewhere, singing something like "All the boys in the band want a valentine from a Barlow Girl" or that Frogs, Dogs, Princes song. Then I'm embarrassed.
