So, the other day I'm at my mum's and she comes out with some random remark that she has some old camera lying around in the shed. !!*£%$&*!! She's had this beautifully kitsch Polaroid Land Camera sat in a plastic bag in her shed for about the last four or five years which is apparently almost unused and ONLY now does she think to mention it to me! Where is her head at?! Hello mum, I'm a photographer, I have a thing for cameras or did I forget to tell you that bit about my life?!!! It has this flash unit on it which we had trouble opening the battery compartment of as the batteries had leaked & rusted inside. I'm hoping my husband can fix it as he actually had to take the contacts (correct term?) out to get the batteries out. I need to find some SX-70 film (I've just looked on ebay & it's expensive stuff!) and shoot some pics. Ok, so it's a cheapo piece of plastic but I'm excited about it! I guess it would have been nice had she come out with a barely-used Hasselblad or an old Leica but this will do!

Anyone please, please, please have any polaroid images to share? I'd love to see them! Or any tips to use my new toy???
