I love good Mexican food and Diet Coke. I store a lot of that love in my waste. smile.gif

I just had to share the wonderful news. I don't know if Baja Fresh is a national chain, but they are everywhere in Southern California. They are slowing changing over the machines, so don't go agro on me if you go to your locak BF and they still have nasty Pepsi.

baja fresh and diet coke are two of my favorite things! yum! good news =)

Yep, they're national. Owned by Wendy's, based right here in Dublin, Ohio. I'm bummed about this, though. My kids love root beer and that's one of the reasons we'll let them have it at Baja Fresh -- no caffeine in Mug (or almost any other) root beer. For some reason, Coca-Cola thinks root beer needs caffeine, so my kids always ask whether it's Barq's or not. I'd rather not have the caffeine, either.

I wonder if Wendy's and Tim Horton's (also owned by Wendy's) will do the same thing?

I saw this thread's title and thought "Did I post that? I don't remember posting that." smile.gif

...pardon me while I take a sip from my In n Out Extra Large Diet Coke..
ahhh, that's better....

That's GOOD NEWS about Baja Fresh! Now I'll have to choose between Rubios & Baja Fresh. I think Rubios will still win -- have you tried their white sauce!!?? But it's cool to have more options now!

In Canada, Wendy's and Tim's only serve Coca Cola beverages for soft drinks. I assumed that was the same case throughout their organizations.

Personally, I strongly prefer the taste of Pepsi to Coke. ah well.

haha no, I think I might be the only person who never watches Real World. I've NEVER gotten sick from Sombreros! Maybe we just have better ones out here in east county! 04.gif 04.gif And there's also a really good place out here called Valerios that's amazing. And it's in a yellow barn. lol

I recently read an interesting article about some McDonald's that are starting to offer both Coke and Pepsi fountian products. If it goes well, all McDonald's would have both brands and Pepsi would gain a huge edge over Coke. Coke leads in fountian beverage sales and Pepsi leads in canned/bottled sales right now.

I'd rather have a nice cold Arizona Green Tea any day! smile.gif
