Full Version: Installation & Deleting from Trash Problems
OpenSourcePhoto > GetIt > Showit Effects

I have SIE installed on my G5 and it's working fine. Last week I installed it on my Mac Book Pro & used it the same evening. My husband takes it to work so I've not used again until tonight & it wasn't in my Photoshop scripts. I looked for it in my Scripts folder in Applications and there was text saying Showit Effects but no folder. I clicked on it & it disappeared... wierd! I tried to reinstall and got a bunch of error messages but eventually it installed. It shows in Photoshop but whenever I try to open it nothing happens & it freezes Photoshop. I also seem to have this empty folder in my trash which I can't get rid of. Everytime I try to delete the trash it says "the operation cannot be completed because the item "showit effects" is in use. I've shut-down and tried to delete it before opening any other program and I still get the same message. Any ideas how to remove it from the trash and why SIE isn't working in Photoshop?

Why are you joking? The first thing I said to my husband when I couldn't find SIE in my Photoshop scripts was "what the **** have you done to it?!" wink.gif

I submitted a ticket, thanks!

yea...we just bought my wife a computer (Dell puterpissed.gif pow.gif )
because there is no way anyone else can touch my baby.

She wanted non mac because her dad is non mac...I just don't get it, especially now that I have played with it a little.

That is how it goes, I'm trying to talk her into keeping my VW because I'm about to get another one soon. Dad likes the chevy though so guess what?

Anyone want a deal on a VW? rolleyes.gif
