This isn't the kind of wedding you'll find in a magazine because it's not going to sell a lot of things you can buy.
I'd like to see it in a magazine.
Here's the comment I left on your blog:
I think you took my breath away. Gotta go find it... wow. I cannot even IMAGINE how beautiful their album will be! So amazing that I'd consider buying a copy (maybe a softcover Lulu or something). The couple are absolutely darling and the pictures are incredible!!!
Thank you VERY MUCH for sharing these...
Life is not measured by how many breaths you take but by the moments that take your breath away.

OH.... her wedding website must have expired.. basically... they grew up together because their parents were good friends, they moved away and lived separate lives for a while, not thinking much of each other as romantic interests. They both married other people, and both marriages ended around the same time. Welllllll..... their tastes in music are so unique that the only radio station they were loyal fans of went off the air, but went online at woxy.com. Woxy has its own community message board, which is how they eventually found out about each other again. When they reuinited in person - sparks flew and one thing after another happened to seal their fate. Even their engagement was somewhat fateful... as Eric was getting ready to propose to Megan... they went to the location pictured above and on that very day there was a sign for another couple's wedding which read... this way to Megan & Eric's wedding! Another interesting little twist... during our engagement session, we were scouring a little two block abandon building area in downtown Detroit and came across a church with a cool door. A few minutes into shooting I realize that their initials (M. E.) are carved into the top of the door! Could there be any more signs that this couple was meant to be?!

Seriously, find a magazine and submit it. It is delicious, even better than your usual best! The TV shot is my favorite!

I looked at the first picture and thought maybe you'd written a book. It looked like a book cover. #'s 1 and 3 could easily be book covers. They are all beautiful, but those are my two favorites. Really strong, beautiful work. Wow.

I looooove DC brides!!! I have 3 of them and they are all fabulously unique! There are so many strong, independent women in DC- I felt so at home when I was there a few weeks ago.

In the midwest there tend to be more women who like to blend into the crowd, so it's rare that I get someone with such a strong sense of individuality and independence. I love my brides.
