Hey guys, this is so totally not for me cuz I already have an awesome tripod....but my work (at which I'm in charge of product photography) needs one and I recommended one (a Bogen/Manfrotto) that was ~$100 and they dont want to spend that much. rolleyes.gif I'm the one who does all the shooting so here's the deal.....they got me one of those light tent kits with the hot lights that aren't very strong (again rolleyes.gif ) so I need a sturdy tripod to be able to shoot at 100 ISO at f/8 or f/11. Right now I have to shoot on 400ISO at 1/60th to get that aperture and the images are somewhat noisy (which they will not buy software for to correct that). So does anyone know of a good quality, sturdy tripod at anything less than $100???? I only know Bogen stuff so I don't know the quality of other brands but I would trust whatever you guys say! Right now, my supervisor is bringing his dinky Walmart tripod in that the quick release wont even stay still on LOL. and I refuse to bring my stuff in cuz they won't pay for it if something happens. So any suggestions are welcome!! Thanks!!

Mutually exclusive when it comes to tripods.

A decent cheap tripod will run you at least ~$100.

But you can expect to spend > $600 if you want to do it right: http://www.bythom.com/support.htm
