Well last night I had a night shoot booked, and what better time for my crappy ebay triggers to stop working . . . . . have mercy on thier Soul-anoids.

I fortunately had 2 flashes, so while 1 ended up on my camera blasting away from the subject the other became my off camera light - not ideal but what can you do with broken crappy chinese triggers.

A couple of shots:

Definately not my best work.

#3 is really really nice! I love the composition and of course the lighting!

Steven...I love the lighting in these shots! The attitudes on the models faces, the location and just everything about these shots! Great job.

I really love #1! Actually, they are all really nice!
In #1, I would clone out the little part of the wall that doesn't have her shadow cast on it. Looks like there is a finger or something even less flattering making it's way towards her face. unsure.gif

But you have done well here and I would say, given the problems you had with your technology, I think your shoot went very, VERY well!

Cheers!

Not too shabby considering what you had to deal with.
#1 is my favorite. The lighting came out awesome.

Thanks guys - I have a 580EX and borrowed a friends 580EX so while mine was on camera, blasting up into the ceiling, it was triggering the 2nd one through the built in canon 'master/slave IR trigger' thing.
