So we're at a friends parents house over the weekend and my friends mom wanted to see our photography website. So we're showing her the site on my laptop and her dad walks in and says "hey did you know my brother likes photography?" so of course he's just like my dad and tells everyone the same story like they've never heard it before so I'm playing along like it's my 1st time. This time however I decide to get a little interactive and toss a few questions out there.

I say "what kind of camera's does he shoot with?"

he says "some hassel something"

and then tells me he uses a hassie with a digitalback.. and I'm lke whoa thats like 20k+ so now I'm interested. I ask what he shoots for.. and get this!!!

He says "Oh just for fun!"

I'm like OMG he uses that camera for his own amusement! I saw some shots too.. he's brilliant! Can't believe he isn't a pro, and by pro I mean paid.. he'd give some nature photogs a run for their money.

Oh man, I know a guy who has "some hassel something" too. But, I don't know, his pictures aren't all that great, composition-wise, and he doesn't really know how to work it. Sets it on basic settings and leaves it there.

I'm like, GIVE ME THAT CAMERA IT'S NOT FAIR!!!!!!!!! Rich people. Ugh. This guy, I swear, went into some camera store in NYC and said, "I want the best camera you have." Done. I tried to get him to let me use it for a while so I could learn how it all works, then I would teach him how, but he wouldn't go for that idea. Probably because I'm not a photography professor at NYU or something.
