I'm trying to combine photos from our wedding shoot on Saturday. My RAW files from my D200 imported into LR2 fine- but I've tried to import her RAW files from her D300s and it's not working.

We both have LR2 and they import fine on her computer but not mine!!??

I've tried importing using her card and card reader (doesn't work), I've copied all her RAW files to an external hard drive- tried importing- it doesn't work. I've copied one of her .NEF files onto my card reader - put it in my D200 - and my camera says "Folder Contains No Images."

I've done some googling - not really finding any answers..

any suggestions?

I can always edit the photos on her computer - export as .jpg and combine them on my computer again... but that sounds like a pain!!

What version of LR 2 do you have? The latest is 2.7.
According to my calculations... Escalator+Slinky= Infinite Fun!

That's the issue. Older versions of Lightroom won't open NEF files from a D300s. You just need to update and it'll work fine.

You may, however, find that the D300s files are much noisier than your D200 at ISO 200 or ISO 100. The luminance noise reduction in Lightroom does a pretty good job with it.
